Frozen contaminants
During this training, it will be explained how operating in winter conditions can affect aircraft performance.
The basic concept will be introduced that any frozen contamination (ice, frost, slush, or snow) on aerodynamic surfaces affects the aerodynamic performance, and why the deicing ground crew should note all factors relating to the aerodynamic surfaces of the aircraft.
