Deicing/anti-icing fluids
Any ice, snow, slush, or frost on an aircraft must be removed before flight, and this is mainly achieved using deicing/anti-icing fluids.
Other techniques (brooms, ropes, infra-red, etc.) can be used, but the use of aircraft deicing fluids (ADF) is the most common method.
During this training, you will learn about the most commonly used fluid types.
