Ribbons & Toolbars

Once you start ©PowerPoint you will see the collection of different menus, or tabs, at the top of your screen known as the Ribbon.

Here the different commands are organized in a visual way and grouped by category. The name of each group is shown at the bottom of each category.

Within each category there are more sub-categories that become available for further options or more information.

These options, or tools, appear within each menu. These tools are shortcuts to the menu. This is also known as the toolbar.

You may also create your own toolbar.
