Deicing/Anti-icing
The subject of deicing/anti-icing of aircraft on the ground has been the center of my attention since 2006. Coming from operational departments of airline operators, of which I spent 27 years as an operations agent and flight dispatcher, aviation activities in winter was nothing new to me. I have had the opportunity to work alongside some great colleagues who taught me all I know today in the area of airport winter operations.
I am a member of the SAE G-12 Deicing group and have been the document sponsor for the initial publication of the "AS6286 - Training and Quality Assurance Program Guidelines for Deicing/Anti-icing of Aircraft on the Ground". I am currently one of 2 Co-chairs of the G-12T - Training Committee.
My training sessions on deicing/anti-icing have taken me all over Europe and as fas as Japan.

Das Thema Enteisung von Flugzeugen am Boden steht seit 2006 im Mittelpunkt meiner Aufmerksamkeit. Aus meiner Zeit in operativen Abteilungen von Luftfahrtunternehmen, in denen ich 27 Jahre als Operations Agent und Flight Dispatcher tätig war, waren Luftfahrtaktivitäten im Winter nichts Neues für mich. Ich hatte die Gelegenheit, mit einigen großartigen Kollegen zusammenzuarbeiten, die mir alles beigebracht haben, was ich heute im Bereich der Flugzeugenteisung kenne.
Ich bin Mitglied der SAE G-12-Enteisungsgruppe und Dokumentensponsor für die Erstveröffentlichung der "AS6286 - Richtlinien für das Schulungs- und Qualitätssicherungs-programm zum Enteisen von Flugzeugen am Boden". Ich bin derzeit einer von 2 Co-Vorsitzenden des G-12T-Trainingsausschusses.
Meine Schulungen zum Thema Enteisen haben mich in ganz Europa und sogar bis nach Japan geführt.
